  We have always appreciated the demanding requirements defined by the simulation industry. Not only shall the projection itself be impeccable and support a wide range of training tasks but the projection system modules as such shall be low cost and require minimal time to achieve a design and build of a simulator. Furthermore the operational cost shall be acceptable and the projection systems are expected to be operational for many years.

On the technical side the industry wants:

  • zero latency,
  • seamless pictures,
  • well defined targets in all situations,
  • homogeneous colors,
  • high contrast,
  • high brightness,
  • excellent replication of night condition,
  • compliance with Night Vision Goggles,
  • high resolution and
  • the best possible horizontal and vertical field of view.

Many of these requirements contradict each other and no existing technology can meet all the requirements in one solution. A practical and affordable solution will always be a compromise and it takes a whole wealth of experience and skills to design projection theatres to suit the various simulator types..

Concept:
  Our product concept includes intelligent screens, projectors, mounting arrangements and cables in addition to the well reputed non-linear image warping technology. Used together these modules also offer a unique self-calibrating functionality ensuring that any front projected projection theatre stays fully calibrated at all times without the need for any technical support..
